In our “Their experience” column there is a new topic – this time we talk about the Greek project “KETHEA ITHAKI“. Over 35 years they help drug users in Greece. Today this is a powerful organization which consists of 120 units (departments), has not only the annual budget of 18 mln Euro but also most important its services are absolutely free for users.

Today in our rubric “their experience” is the story about the Macedonian project HOPS – Healthy Options Project Skopje https://hops.org.mk/. This organization has been working in the field of assistance for addicts for more than 20 years. How it all began, what are the needs of vulnerable groups today, how to avoid professional burnout about this and not only in our story from Macedonia.
*Macedonian shooting— a way, a method of conducting a fight with fire-arms, most often with pistols. Assumes the fight with two hands. Such a method provides duplication of firepower of the shot.

In the beginning of September, the “Foundations of Consulting People with addictions to psychoactive Substances and the Relatives of Those People” webinar was held.
This is only a part of “Let’s Be Acquainted” big project (more information on the project on https://www.protivnarko.ru/bf-sv-prav-ioanna-kronshtadtskogo-nachal-novyiy-proekt-budem-znakomyi/). The aim of the course is to give a set of basic knowledge enough for launch of consultation point (room).
